The Los Angeles Mission is a nonprofit organization serving the homeless living on the streets of downtown’s Skid Row. Faithfully, for 75 years, we have saved many lives and have had a profound impact on thousands of others by providing compassionate, humanitarian services to those in desperate need. The Salvation Army was founded in London's East End in 1865 by one-time Methodist minister William Booth and his wife Catherine. Originally, Booth named the organization the East London Christian Mission. The name The Salvation Army developed from an incident in May 1878.

United Street Ministries is to be a non-denominational Spirit filled Christian Ministry. We serve the lost, forgotten, and broken hearted as well as being a resource center for housing and employment. We hold services with inspirational music and the word of God, cooperating with urban ministries
whose beliefs are consistent with the Christian faith.

Albuquerque Healthcare for the Homeless Founded in 1985 as one of nineteen original projects, AHCH was part of a national demonstration initiative funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and Pew Memorial Trusts to develop innovative approaches for providing healthcare to people experiencing homelessness.
